I'm 25 years old with two handsome sons and a wonderful husband. I've struggled with weight my whole life but even more so since I had my oldest son in 2006. I stumbled across Atkins and have found that it's the best way for me to get healthy and lose weight. My goal is to reach 180lbs.

You're welcome hun. That's actually an I consistancy on their site. I have the most recent book out, New Atkins for a New you (aka NANY). The first time I did induction I went by 20-25nc before I got the book and still lost 14lbs in 10 days. I also started at 285, 115lbs overweight. The more you have to lose, the quicker the first few pounds are to come off.

That could be the culprit right there. A lot of folks have problems with losing weight when they rely more on Atkins products rather than actual meals. I understand having kids and maybe not having enough time to cook meals for yourself. Try finding recipes or cooking more that stretches longer so that you can rely on the real stuff.

Just make sure you eat 20NC with 12-15NC coming solely from acceptable veggies. I think once you are able to do that you will be able to lose weight.
