I am a very picky eater. I hate seafood and pretty much anything raw.

I am also a bellydancer and love all forms of dance. I have a heel spur, plantar faciatis and some other pain that has formed in my big toe. Though all this has slowed me down, I refuse to stop dancing. In fact, I just started doing Zumba to get additional exercise.

I play Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) and am a hobbit minstrel.

Zumba!!
I have been doing Zumba all summer. I was taking with one instructor, and just started with a different one about a month ago. The new instructor is awesome, since she incorporates all kinds of international music. She even does an 80s flashback warm up that has everything from Thriller to Footloose to Grease Lightning. I go weekly (I also take Bellydance classes).

Frequency of Weigh-Ins: Everyday vs. Once a Week
I weigh myself weekly because I find if I record it daily, that I would get really discouraged easily and just give up (which is how I gained all 30 lbs back that I lost a few years ago while on the WebMD diet).

My overall goal right now is to stay within the calorie allotment I set for myself everyday. Even if I don't lose 15 lbs this month, I know that by next month, I'll be on a healthier cycle and can reduce my calorie intake accordingly. I already feel healthier.. and that is the overall goal to any of this.

This is my second day using fatsecret
Hi Lindsay. I just joined yesterday too. I am at 200lbs and am hoping to lose 25lbs in the next couple months so that I can buy my dress for my December wedding. I don't have any tips, but glad to see I'm not the only new face around.
