Hello, my name is Desiree and I'm fat. No surprise there! I've been married for 14 years to my high school sweetheart and we have 4 children. Our boys are 14, 13 & 11 and our princess, er, I mean girl is 3. We live in Milwaukie/Clackamas area of Oregon, USA.
I dabble in 4 different "jobs" and I enjoy it. I work 2 separate direct sales companies, Brown Bag Party and Scentsy. I also work for Hallmark doing retail merchandising and work as a guide/expediter for ChaCha. (Google it, it's fun!)
I competed in weight loss challenge last fall and lost almost 25 pounds in 3 months. It wasn't so hard! I started on Weight Watchers and got a good base for what I needed to do. I'm hoping to continue that streak of 20-25 pounds every quarter this year to achieve my weight loss goal. I'm not 100% sure what the end goal is, I have an idea and then I'll play around when I get close.
I'm ready to take my health into my own hands and be responsible for my own choices (instead of blaming my environment.) I'm trying to be very aware of my "excuses" and strike them out before they take hold.
