I am a single mother of an awesome, energetic little boy and an elementary school music teacher. I'm also very involved at my church, singing in the choir and working with the youth groups. Though I have been overweight my entire life, I did successfully lose almost 100 pounds in 2006-07, only to gain it back after having my son in 2008 with an additional 40 pounds. I have made the commitment to follow the Atkins Lifestyle and hope to become healthier to be an example and also to have more energy for my son.
