I am 34 (going to be 35 this year), and I have been on the heavy side of the spectrum (300lbs) as well as the slim side (130lbs) so I know what it's like to be both. Unfortunately, for most of my life weight has come back even when I've lost it (such as when I weighed 130, I became pregnant, and just never lost the weight again.)
My kids (11 and 13) support me, and tell me that I'm perfect the way I am. I'm getting better for myself, and for them.
I quit smoking in 2011, and haven't missed it at all. It is easier for me to exercise and breathe. I look forward to supporting others in their journey, and finding people who understand my struggles as well.
