I am 30, and I have been on the heavy side of the spectrum (300lbs) as well as the slim side (130lbs) so I know what it's like to be both. Unfortunately, for most of my life weight has come back even when I've lost it (such as when I weighed 130, I became pregnant, and just never lost the weight again.)
My son (10yrs) doesn't want me to lose too much weight because then I "won't look like Mommy." to him anymore. However, with my health issues, I would like to at least get out of the Obese category and most indubitably get out of the "Morbidly Obese" category.
I quit smoking earlier this year, so it is easier for me to exercise and breathe. I look forward to supporting others in their journey, and finding people who understand my struggles as well.
