I've decided to upload a photo of myself taken in 2009. While it's not the most flattering of photos, I decided to use this one as it was a huge moment for me, and quite inspiring. It was the day I completed a triathlon which marked the loss of 130 pounds or so over a 5-year period (I weighed over 300 pounds in 2004!)
I don't think I will ever post a picture of myself from those "dark days" - mostly because I avoided the camera light the plague, or simply got rid of the photos/evidence of my reality. (Nothing quite like an ostrich with her head buried in the sand! LOL)
My weight has been up and down since 2009, but today, I weigh about 15 pounds more than I did then. I am currently making my FINAL push toward reaching my goal weight of 150 pounds - which should happen at around Christmastime 2015 if all goes well.
I will not lie... the HcG diet is a very difficult program. However, it is also VERY effective. I just have to keep reminding myself that the really hard part only lasts for the first 6 weeks of each 12-week round - which I call the "boot-camp" phase. After that, it's a breeze! :)
After my current round (which is #2) is complete, I plan to do one more in the fall. At that time, I will reassess to see if a fourth one is needed. (Hopefully not!)
