I've struggled with self image for my whole life. If only I was as 'fat' as I thought I was in High School when I was a size 5!!
Since then, medications, stress eating, Colitis, back problems, and different conditions have made losing weight difficult.
I'm following advice of doctors and a support group now. I aim for 40-55 fat grams a day, and 1500 calories. That mixed with 10K steps (working my way to 15K) as recommended by The Heart Association and I'm finally losing weight.
It's slow, but the weight didn't come on overnight.
I'm seeing a LOT of non-scale (NS) progress which is very motivating.
