Bippi's Journal, 25 May 2012

This has been a funny week for me. I was motivated to start exercising more, and I kept my eating in check, yet I gained over all. I'm hoping some of that was muscle, but I'm guessing not all of it was. I'm still 16.6 lbs from my goal weight, and I still have the belly fat that I intend to lose.

I've found it's been harder lately to get closer to my goal. My guess is that my metabolism is starting to shift, so I'm going to have to work that much harder to shift with it.

116.6 lb Lost so far: 23.4 lb.    Still to go: 16.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Remember sometimes you're losing fat but gaining muscle! Don't be discouraged keep up the good work!

If you are exercising more, maybe you're muscles are holding more water. I've heard that theory before and maybe if you keep drining water you'll flush your system and see a loss. I'd guess that if you keep up exercising more in the next couple of weeks you'll see a loss.

I've dealt with the same thing that's why I posted that i never know what's going to be seen on the scales. It's okay though, we are in this together and we are not done yet! Keep going! You are an inspiration to the rest of us. :-)
