SUNDAY...


Yay! Looks like the fast broke the stall. I weighed in this morning, after church, at 198. So, I am recording it! That was what I weighed at the end of the fast also. Boy am I glad that little plateau is gone...now on to the next! lol

Church today was awesome as usual...our little church is growing by leaps and bounds, and we are bursting at the seams. We are starting a new sermon series, "What We Believe". Today's sermon topic..."The identity of Jesus Christ". It was great as usual. There was a bit of sad news though, my pastor's grandmother passed away yesterday. His dad and mom are a big part of our church also, and they are really hurting, so I am asking for some prayers for them. They are a very close knit family, and this is going to be a rough go for the next little while. Thanks in advance.

Food is great, exercise is good...will get a walk in later if the weather holds. It is snowing, raining, and sleeting, but very lightly right now, even though it is 43 degrees. I have never seen it snow at 43 degrees! Just crazy!

Sometimes I think a body just needs a big ol' jolt of change to get it moving again. Congrat's on the downward movement! Glad you survived the fast.

Well done on your fasting Stef. Your church sounds amazing, a real get together. It is good you get such pleasure from it. Glad you are doing well with the walking and the food. We have one more week to go with our walking challenge. We should do it Stef. Good luck. Awesome to hear that you had a drop! So many blessings.:) Nothing better than receiving the Word by a powerful preacher. Best kind of food there is. Will pray for the family. Yikes, hope you stay warm and dry on your walk if you go out tomorrow. God bless.:)

Sazy, thanks. They are the most amazing group of people...I am so blessed to be a part of such a lovely "family". I am not going to make the steps in the walking challenge. I should have figured it a bit more carefully, but I didn't. The overall plan says to walk 9-10,000 steps a day and reach 300,000 by March 13. That is not possible since the challenge is only 28 days long. I would need to walk 10,500 a day to make it. I have fallen short. As of the end of the day yesterday, I only had a total of 201,788 which means I need to walk 98,212 steps by next Monday...that is about 14,000 steps a day. :( Wish I had done the calculations sooner. I thought it was a 30 day challenge, which would have meant 10,000 steps a day average. Oh well I have done the best I can. At least we are walking and moving, right? Have a great day! I want to be where you are by April. *gulp* Sorry about your pastor's grandmother. It was her time and I pray they find some comfort within the church and with each other. ((HUGS!))

Thanks so much Sandy. I get so much inspiration from those here on FS. My pastor and his family are very sad to lose their loved one, but know she is in a better place now. My birthday is April 7th...sure hope I am further along toward where I was when dad died. Have a great week...hugs!!
