ok. this may be strange cause im writing it on my phone. I already shut off my computer for the night and just don't feel like turning it back on.
day 1 of the elimination diet.!!
it went ok. I probably messed up a little by not having anything available to eat this morning. so I didn't eat until I got home from shopping which ended up being around 1 this afternoon. I tried to buy mainly organic, but it wasn't really possible. I need to look up the dirty dozen and remember which dozen foods have to be organic.
I also need to look back up my list of trigger foods for migraines. and double check my list of galactosemia foods. I think my approved foods list is ok with galactosemia, but im not sure everything on it is ok with migraines. so ill look it up tomorrow. I may have messed up today by eating an avocado. I think it might have been on the bad list.
well, things to do tomorrow I suppose.
I will have to find sources for meats other than fish. mom and I were talking about it tonight. im kind of excited about eating and cooking other meats. its a new experience.
the other issue/concern/topic today is medicine. I've been on topomax forever. (look up how long?) and the pharmacy was out, so the doc switched me to gabapentin (but they didn't tell me, nice)... I don't like anything I read about the new one. so do I wean myself off of topomax and go without any? or do I call and try to get some topomax? I' used to only use 50 mg a day, then sometime in the last months switched up to the 100 im supposed to, but in the last week (I think) I went back to 50. I have just enough to wean myself off in the next week and a half. im not sure what to do.
part of me wants to go off of the medicines I can and see with the diet how I can do. I want to know who/what I am without them. part of me also says that if it works, does it matter who I am, just use them. but if I use them and im ok, how will I ever know when im healed, how will I ever know when its enough and id be healthy enough without them?

anyways. as far as today goes: ache in my joints again overnight, but it wasnt too bad during the day. my fingers weren't all swollen when I woke up. no tummy problems. I actually went to the bathroom, finally. yay. my skin on my face burns even with the aloe vera, im wondering if I got windburn? or maybe its just my body being itself. I do have a headache this evening, starting at around 730, not bad, just a little dull ache on the top of my head/temple/forehead type. (from diet change, no pop today, shopping, avocado? who knows?) haven't taken anything for it, maybe head to bed early for it. no exercise today other than walking around stores. drank plenty of water.
