First of all Happy 12/12/12!!!
Secondly. I said I would record my weigh in regardless of if I liked the number or not. and today I do NOT like the number.
I know it is water weight I really do but I still want to throw something. lol.
I know there is NO way that I gained 2lbs since yesterday morning especially with how low I was on calories yesterday. I barely even break 1000 calories so WHY is my weight so high today?
The only thing I can think is that I was low on water yesterday (only about 50oz, and I didn't work out. SO Today I am going to be sure to drink LOTS of water and tonight I am going to jog again (5 min twice) and maybe get in some extra cardio on the eliptical after I jog.

Last night my husband told me that the guys at his office are missing my baking. Since I started getting healthy I stopped making cookies and brownies etc for them like I used too. SO last night I made 4 dozen cookies. You will all be proud of me. I was out of chocolate chips so I made peanut butter cookies which are my FAVORITE.
I put on my apron, put in my headphones listened to a book on tape and did NOT allow myself to think about the super yummy peanut butter cookies I was making. As soon as I took them off the cookie sheet I put them in the container and closed the lid! I did not have a single cookie. I didn't even eat any cookie dough. (those of you who know me know I LOVE cookie dough) As soon as I was done with the mixing bowl I set it in the sink and filled it with water so I could not scrape the bowl. Before I went to bed I put the tupperware filled with cookies in my husbands car so I would not be staring at them this morning.
It is strange but I felt really empowered knowing that I can make something that I love so much and NOT feel that i NEED to eat it. I won the battle with myself and told myself my health is more important than a peanut butter cookie.
I did make a "healthier" version of banana bread last night. I have to say I am rather disapointed in it. I will have to keep trying to find a healthy one that I like. If anyone has recipies I would love to have it!!
Have a GREAT Wed everyone

UPDATE: When I hit submit I got a pop up saying that you are gaining at a rapid weight of 11.4lbs per week. EEEKKKK I know it is just because it was almost 2lbs up from yesterday but did it really have to throw that at me?

When I lost a bunch of water weight this week, it told me, at this rate I will reach my goal in 2 weeks. If only! I like how you planned and executed the cookie baking. Even though it was tough, you did it. You really shouldn't be encouraging those guys to eat cookies but I suppose since it's not that often, it's ok. ;) They will be singing your praises today. Peanut butter cookies are my favorite, too!

A couple of the guys are like my husband. The Dr. says he needs any calories he can get. it seems so strange to me that he has to work at keeping weight on. He eats about 2800 calories a day and is 110 on a GOOD day. If he is busy and skips a few lunches he can easily drop down to 105 in a week. YEP I am so jelous. He has a desk job but most of the other guys at his office are doing manual labor so they can use the calories.

That is amazing self control! My discipline levels are at maximum level at the moment and I still don't think I could have made my favourite treats and given them away un-tasted, that is super impressive. I know these kind of theories are just anecdotal, but when I was barely breaking a 1000 calories I was getting some annoying scale results too, but taking the calories up to 1200 seems to have done the trick of getting things back on track. Do you think you could be having too little?
