Have been traveling for work and last week I was with my grand kids the whole weekend. Last weekend I fell off the wagon. Not so much because of my grand kids but my husband. He worries and complains once in a while, mostly about our daughter & the grand kids. I ate things I shouldn't have. Monday I buckled down and got back with my program I wanted to lose 5 lbs by the 15th and I did it. Now to lose another 5 lbs by the end of the month! Setbacks happen, but I pulled myself back up and stuck with it. I do my best to follow my program but life happens. I try not to eat in place of emotions, but it happens.

Maybe next time celery!
155.0 lb Lost so far: 25.2 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I know it may be inconvenient, but when the fam starts with the whining "But we want THIS for dinner!" doesn't mean you have to go along. Power of "NO." And I am aware that it is extra hard to say NO to grandkids, as their whole purpose is to be available for grandparents to spoil. Please your health first before pleasing others. Pssst: why can't everyone snack on cherries or grapes instead of chips/junk food? WOE.
