I usually try to enter my weight in FS on a Friday, but I've done well this week and I had a few moments spare, so ...

Very happy with my body's response to going back on low-carb. I've been eating quite a bit of sugar-free chocolate and sugar-free sweets, something I usually try to avoid, but it's helping ease the shock of stepping back into very low carb. I'm not counting macros and really, really hoping we can continue to lose decent amounts of weight without me having to plan EVERY morsel that enters our mouths! Working OK so far (I lost 0.8kg Monday, 0.9kg Tuesday and 0.7 on Wednesday)but I know it's always easy at first. Our weight loss generally plateaus after a few weeks even with 100% adherence, so we are going to do two things differently this time around. Every few weeks, we are going to do a carb cycle, by increasing our carbs considerably for a day or two. This might make going away easier too- we go away every 3-4 weeks and have to eat out. We are also going to resume cycling (well, I am, I can't vouch for my husband). This might be a bit challenging for the next month or so, as it seriously IS wet season in Malaysia at the moment! Mornings tend to be OK though.

I find it strange that when I get under 80kg, I can tell from the shape of my tummy if I have lost or gained weight. Over that weight, it's not really noticeable in any one part of the body! It is an instant reward/ punishment thing though, which works well for me, as I immediately feel better or worse about my body based on my eating the day before. Liking my trimmer body and looking forward to becoming even slimmer in the next few months. Less than 10kg to go- I wonder how long it will take me?

172.8 lb Lost so far: 26.7 lb.    Still to go: 20.7 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 12.3 lb a week
