If I really don’t know a foods carb/fiber/fat/protein I measure/weigh and log.
I am becoming more comfortable with food portions and how many carbs the foods I buy have. And I can usually just tally my Net carbs by glancing at what I am throwing together...
But deep down I know I need to log, for the accountability and consistency.

I do that when life gets too busy. I use the log to tell me where i am carb wise because i hate keeping track lol I really want to try pork rinds do they get mushy?

Yeah same here. 1 day a week I don’t do portions. Just eat foods that are good on macros.

@cherik1 they get crispy on one side and kinda soft on the bottom side, but not in a nasty way, if you leave space for them to cook and crisp all around that’d be ideal, I shove a Pyrex fullllll of them, and could probably be avoided by flipping while cooking... my family gobbles them up!!!
I chop the chicken into nugget sizes with my kitchen shears, then dip into egg, and then the crushed pork rinds. I actually put the rinds in the blender tonight and it saved me a lot of time, even though it created more dishes it was less wasteful than the bag and using the rolling pin.

When I stop for too long I get creep on my RDI. I stay on WOE but the portion sizes and other things like total calories in a week or month on average slide. 🤷🏻♀️I’ve been trying to use the tracking calendar to stay at 💯 % of RDI by the end of each month, or close to it. And I can’t do that if I don’t track it. 🙋🏻

I track everything everyday but when we go out to eat I have to just make a best guess, of course 🙂
