Eating on track for the day.

I think I will weigh myself Monday after I come back from my parents.

I have to drive 6 hours two ways which is boring so I tend to want to eat while I'm driving. I got a suggestion to bring food with me but to stop and eat it outside of the car so that I don't reinforce "driving is boring so let's eat to relieve it". Sounds like a good idea!

I will pick up some cucumbers, macadamia nuts, and maybe boil a few eggs for the trip.

I had to laugh at My Weight History..it is all over the place. This is what heppens when you quit and binge eat. No nice downward slope like some of my FS Buddies. UGH! Well, hopefully I can stay consistent for the next month.

My Pens won last night so 1 more win to move on!

Shelly, what would happen if you took no food at all with you - just water, like Propel, flavored water? You would force yourself NOT to eat. This would be a significant event, wouldn't it? Ultimately, it is up to us to decide we are not going to be overweight. We decide that by doing things that allow us to say no to over eating. So if you brought no food at all, you would deprive yourself of the ability to over eat on the ride home. Drinking the water should actually make you feel full to stop the hunger while not adding calories.

Well, I don't know, but I would think about bringing too much water on a trip. You don't want to be stuck having to go all the time..., I think your plan is a good one. For some of us, I think it's more than just deciding not to be overweight... I made that decision thousands of times, years and years ago... Emotions come into play, anxiety and stress. Why don't you put some music that you love and get you into a groove. I just love road trips...with good music. :)

We all have those ups and downs. You have a nice downward trend going now. It may be tough but try to keep the momentum. Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself.

Thank you for the well wishes and suggestions! @skydiver- well i didnt think of this until just now but i sighned up for the no eating after dinner challenge, which i have been sticking to, so i guess no food on the road is the way its gonna be! I will just bring dinner to work and eat before i leave and have my water.
