kmar's Journal, 29 November 2015

Although it's not advised, I'm going to weigh myself everyday. This will help keep me focused, I think. I do know weight fluctuates, so I understand that; but my yo-yoing happens when I get off track. I've joined 4 challenges which work together as well; 10 No snacking in the evening, 2) 5:2 Fasting through Christmas and New Years, 3) LCHFIF, and 4) Lose 20 lbs by End of Feb 2016. These will also help my resolve.

Weighing frequency is a personal thing. If it makes you crazy to do it every day, then make a different focus. Weighing daily keeps me focused and accountable. Good luck!

I've weighed myself daily and put into a spreadsheet every day since min 1999. That'sa one big spreadsheet take weekly averages. It's quite a story. Watched myself drop 50# on Atkins, then more recently another 20 on ZCK.

For me I do not think whis is a good idea. Once a week on the same scale is good for me. It is the same time and the same scale.

I've decided to weigh myself everyday as well for now. My hope is that I will not get emotional about it rather use the information as inspiration or reformation or even for reflection on yesterday's activities. For me I need the impartiality of the scale. The scale isn't making a judgement, it is simply reporting a fact. I hope that recording that fact every morning will help me during this time of transition.

Just don't let the fluctuations get you, even on LC you can retain water. So, you could be doing great but it might not be reflected by the scale until you have a woosh.
