Yadah's Journal, 20 October 2017

Hello everyone if I may I'd like to share my weight loss journey with you.
I was once 236 lbs. And at that time I couldn't even wipe myself clean.( Please excuse the vulgarity) it was my wake up call. I began drinking water just water and I mean a lot. of it. lol! didn't expect anything to change really it was a start. I then begin walking. up a mountain, down and around stone mountain here in Atlanta. I felt great. what really did it for me is when I got on the scale and saw, 220! It was awesome! I began mentally seeing 215, 210, and so on. I knew it was time for me to now start implementing a lifestyle change with the food I was in relationship with. We broke up. I broke up with the ice cream, the snacks, the extra portions of dessert and a lot of other foods that were doing me more harm than good. I do have my day were I eat what I like, just in moderation.
today my weight is at its lowest, lowest than I've ever seen it and that's a good thing. I was injured on my job last year and do not get the exercise I used to when I was working so for me to be able to maintain my weight is really really important to me because I know how depression, anxiety and the like can give a "the heck with it" attitude especially when food was a closest friend at one point. that friend that made you feel safe. LIES! ALL LIES!!
Today I am my closest friend bcz that friend tried to kill me and you know the saying, "with a friend like that who needs an enemy"
I love Food, truly, but I'm loving me more today.
Thank you for letting me share my story. Thank for the support I get from you guys, my new family. I don't have to do it alone and for that I am truly grateful.
Well Family that's my story. I hope my story can and will help someone in this thing called "Weight Loss "

Wow. What a grand journey you've made! Congratulations. I started at 234 and I am down to 150+, so it's possible to do this, although it's taken me quite a while. I'll be thrilled to see you continue to make great progress. Good luck!

This, too, is my story, to the point it gives me shivers reading it. What a great feeling to be light and not be a servant to food.
