I NEED to focus. I have been eating carbs and sweets like it's nobody's business, and part of the problem is that I get some free food from work and I hate throwing things away but I need to not make that an excuse. Other people will take it. Anyway, I also need to stop giving into my sweet cravings, and keep my place stocked with fruit because usually an orange is enough for me if I have one. I'm making May 5 a point of reference for myself because I have a "beach day" event with my friends to go to. So, that gives me 57 days from tomorrow to lose about 20 pounds. Honestly, because these aren't pounds my body absolutely needs to lose, 3 weeks will be spent traveling (when I hope to mostly eat fruits & veggies from markets), and that's a lot to shoot for anyway, I recognize that it might not happen in this time frame but that's okay. My resolution was to be maintaining 114 pounds by the end of this year, I'm going to shoot for it now and hopefully it'll work. I've been maintaining the low 130s for a while so it's time to move on. I tend to lose-plateau-lose...etc. so that will probably happen again but that's okay.
Anyway, I'm going to have to wean myself off of eating all the time (literally, that's what I've been doing lately), so I will have to drink water/tea/coffee whenever I get a craving. Of course I will still eat when I should eat.
57 days & 20 pounds = .35 pounds/day (~1230 calorie deficit/day) So, on average, I should probably aim to eat no more than 1200 calories/day. Some days I work out, some days I don't, but that should pretty much even it out and I know I won't survive on less.
