OK...so last weekend I was grocery shopping on an empty stomach and it was way past breakfast and lunch. This is a big no no for me because I'm liable to do something stupid and impulsive, right? I'm at the checkout and there are the Fit & Active Chocolate Protein bars. So I grab a box and decide I'll have one in the car on the way home. It was the best choice I could make given the circumstances. So now I have this box of bars -- that, by the way, are WAY too good to be called diet food. I'm really trying to get away from the processed stuff so I'm actually looking forward to getting rid of them. I'll admit, they are tasty but I could get lots more actual nutrition with real food. I had to post this cuz my buddy Gwen just got an earful from me about nutrition and I didn't want to look like a hipocrite! :-P

I figured I could have grabbed a candy bar. They were right there! The truth is I had all sorts of fruit in my basket. I could have just as easily had a pear!
