I'm losing barely anything, not even a a whole pound!! I'm about to starve, seems the only thing that will work at this point. This is ridiculous. I think I'm doing well and I just can't seem to shed the weight. Doing this for almost a month and I'm plateaued already.

I know you'll all say starving isn't the answer but if you knew how I used to eat compared to the clean eating I'm doing now, I should be losing a lot more than I have so far. I've learned that higher fat is necessary with LCHP and I only eat good things, nothing bad ever goes into my body now.

Frustrated ;(

You've lost 7 pounds in a month! That's exciting. It took me 6 months with WW, walking steps daily and walking in the neighborhood at night. I have one stubborn body!!! Other people lost all around me much more weight. Keep experimenting and see what makes you feels good, sleep well and continue to lose ounce by ounce.

forgot to say...in 6 months, I lost a precious 20 lbs :)Now for another precious ?? 34 to get under 200. Keep up the good work.

I lost that 7lbs in the first two weeks and now nothing? Makes no sense

HI! I know your frustrations and fell bad for you. Its hard to change your whole life style and then to boot step on that dreaded scale and see no change or even worse a gain. Try and keep your head up and keep going. Your will get there. Try and remember the weight didn't happen over night so success will time as well. Also might I suggest lowering your protein levels to a moderate amount keep low carbs and add more fats to your diet. Also look into following Maria Emmerich. She is great and knows her stuff. There r recipes and she always gives a break down of whats bad and why. She also has a forum,blog,facebook page and even helps with personal consults if u can afford to. O and she has cook books and books to help understand more about food and the science behind it all. I started my journey 6 months ago and have had great success just following her blogs and facebook now on her forum too. I am now taking it a step up not cause I wasn't losing but because I think Ketosis is better and want to be a fat burner rather than a sugar burner like most are.

Actually I did the South Beach Diet which is the same kind of thing, the first 2 weeks were great, but many people, including myself didn't lose after the first 2 weeks when you are allowed to add back in healthy carbs. Don't know why. That's why I said to experiment. Sometimes certain foods will satisfy my starving feeling, like a hand full of peanuts. And fast walking outside really seams to help burn calories. The stairs I walked everyday were about 100 steps up a medical building I work at. I don't know about calories, but the muscular workout was apparently great - my husband and sister commented on how great my "backside" looks! lol. Find something new and inspiring to do, maybe? New park to explore, new kind of food, Lots of water works for me too (and I don't like to drink it, I have to remember to and make myself).

Faith... I live on the third floor and have to walk my two little dogs about 4-5 times a day so I get the steps thing, my calves look great. And I usually do the treadmill when I can and feel great afterwards; I guess at this age I need to do it more often but it's hard with my schedule. Sunshinegirl.... are you saying my fat content should be more than the protein? I thought it was low carbs, high protein and fat was in the middle.

I was reading about green tea really helping with jump starting your metabolism and keeping it revved up…might want to try drinking 3 cups a day along with plant of water. I drink green tea everyday and not only does it help my energy, focus, provide antioxidants, I've also noticed it's bumped up my metabolism. Just a thought. Good luck, you can do it!!!

Don't give up! Tell yourself every minute of the say you arent going to give up. I dont know if you are doing cardio and weight training, but that is what helped me as well as clean eating. You are taking care of yourself even if you arent seeing the results you want in the time you want to see them in. Please dont give up!

Thanks, Kris! I'm not giving up for sure, I don't even have the desire to switch to bad foods so that definitely won't happen. I have a couple of 5lb dumbells I want to use to get my arms in shape, but then won't I gain muscle weight and I STILL won't get below 165?

Green tea 4 to 5 cups a day .you will feel the difference
