After my disgraceful eating behavior this weekend, I proudly got on my treadmill (which is now fixed) and ran...yes, ran! It was the first time I ran in about two years! I was sweating! Glorious, sticky, misty sweat -- feel the burn! Okay, I only ran for about 7 minutes, but finished the 20-minute routine with a brisk walk. Burned some calories...and hopefully started the week off on solid ground!

Diet Calendar Entries for 11 August 2008:

Great job! Every time you get on. Try to jog/run for an additional minute. You'll work your way up. Just wait and see!

Good job! Better than me - my treadmill just sits there b/c I HATE to sweat! The other night I did ON DEMAND and did Carmen Electra's Striptease Aerobics...I wasn't impressed. I already dance like that but I am not that young anymore and who goes out dancing everyweek like we did in our 20s? Then I tried to do yoga and stretch - I used to be pretty limber so I wdn't "cheat" by bending my knees for my warm-up - I was sidelined by a butt cramp! Who pulls a muscle in their butt???? I am going to see if this treadmill thing helps with your progress and then JUST MAYBE I will get on mine. Maybe we can chat while I walk? Isn't is a sign of good stamina if you can carry a conversation while working out? I will talk to you this weekend about it!
