Still waiting for Boyfriend to get out of bed, so still not been on the treadmill, but I just want to say I've found somewhere in my town that does 5k runs every single week, for free. They also time you and log lots of results on their website so you can compare yourself against all the other runners etc. I've registered and I am going to attempt one after I've finished my 9 week training on the treadmill :-)

that's great! I'm happy for you, I wish they did more 5K run/walks here...and free is even better. I suppose I could figure out a route and just do it on my own...but that's just not appealing. I have gone to weight watchers...I think their scale is a little off...but all that matters is that the weight comes off in the end, right? Stick with your plan, and good luck with the 5k!

Thank you, well we've decided we will go to the first one just to check the route, then we can do it on our own (the organised one is very early on a Saurday morning). You are right, as long as it comes off, that is definitely the main thing. I am loving the training on my treadmill, I ran 25 minutes yesterday, can't believe it !!!
