Well...I've been sitting at the same weight for several days now. It's slightly above my last recorded weight, but I think it's TOTM weight, so I'm not sure I want to record it.

Managed almost entirely wheat free yesterday though! I had a salad with fried chicken on top for dinner, and the batter probably had wheat, but nothing else I ate all day had wheat in it. I even SKIPPED THE ROLLS! Seriously, they had big fat soft hot dinner rolls (with whipped cinnamon butter on the side) and I managed to resist them. Brought them home for the offspring. He was most pleased!

Stomach does not hurt, or feel like it's a Maytag full of sneakers on wash cycle. Hmmm...weight was exactly the same this morning as yesterday. Further hmmm...

Oh, the reason we went out? Hubs came home from work Monday and his...brakes were smoking. I know for a fact once you let the smoke out of something that you'll never get much use out of it again. So, we had to go and pick up his truck, and being diabetic he had to eat ASAP. We may actually finally eat at home today-I sure hope so I have a fridge full of meat that has been thawed and needs to get used up!

You have no idea how stunned and impressed I am that you were able to resist the yummy rolls. I know how much you love your breads. AWESOME JOB!!!! Nope, TOTM weights aren't needed. They are deceptive and make us feel like we are loosing our fight. That you haven't lost or gained shows that the wheat thing might have some merit.

OMG me too! LOL! I am SUCH a bread hound,I was quite impressed with myself for leaving them alone. I just now had to eat something with wheat because payday is a couple of days away and I am running low on pretty much anything to eat that doesn't contain wheat. So, great grains cranberry almond crunch-I love the stuff, but no one else in the house does. I'm going to finish it off over the next week, before it goes stale, and just not buy more of it. Yeah, much as I hate to admit it, I do think the wheat thing has merit.

Just had a major popcorn binge...ah well, as binges go it isn't so bad, really, even oil popped corn can't do a lot of harm. TOTM collateral damage!

LOL - once you let the smoke out ... you crack me up! Yep, brakes don't work and/or you end up with a new Pope :-) I on the other hand, after all my 'wheat free' bragging had not one but TWO of the KFC biscuits with butter yesterday. That'll teach me to act smug, LOL!

LOL-our minds have a way of teaching us a lesson when we think we're allowed behind the wheel! The brake calipers seized up on Mike's truck, so those were replaced, the damaged brakes themselves (the things that burned), and the whole system was flushed and "rebooted". It's important to be able to stop, in any vehicle really but especially in a big ol' truck!

Letting the smoke out is apparently some sort of Combat Nerd saying-when you let the smoke out of a computer you never do get it working right again.

Ok - that's twice I've seen it. What is PATST? Yeah, I figure it's gonna take a couple of days and a lobotomy to get the dang carb cravings back outta Bella; maybe I need to get my smoke out? LOL. When I made a chicken burrito for hub's lunch I was think 'hmmm... ' but jumnped out from under the wheel.

Oh-I'm sorry! Posting At The Same Time! LOL-yeah I think the carb thing is a vicious wheel to get stuck under, once you've stopped it, it only takes one little thing to set it off. It's like that for me anyway. The more bread I eat, the more I want.

Ahh.. got it. Yeah, back in the day I used to think eating those chinese rice crackers were a good thing because they were fat & sugar free... yikes, I'll be so glad when I grow up.
