Work continue to be busy and annoying, I am getting things done but not near fast enough. Past three days were as crazy as the past couple of months. I'm starting to get pissed when I see people playin fooz ball and standing around laughing and talking in the office..how come they have so much time on their hands when I'm so busy. I know its childish to be upset that not everyone is as stressed as me but that how I feel. My regular routine has been all messed up last month. First my manager came out for a visit so I had to go into the office every day that week. Then the director came out and I had to change around my working from home days and then the VP came for a visit and again had to change my schedule. And this week I had a co worker in from another region for some cross training, so more days in the office. I'm old and I like my routine.

But the long weekend was good. I dicovered some important things. When you can take your pants off without undoing them, they are too big. Still haven't gotten use to clothes getting larger rather than smaller. I haven't lost any weight in a long time so its most likely that they just got stretched out but I went over a month pulling these pants up every couple of minutes. Finally went bought some smaller sizes. At my age and weight showing your butt crack is not a good look.

My dogs give me energy. Don't know how this works but I have suspected it for some time. Took Baby Girl to the groomers a few block away and left Whitey at home as seperating them is an issue, they always want to be together. So we walked along quickly, Baby Girl running around sniffing everything. Dropped her off with the groomer and walking back was so slow and hard. It was a beautiful day but I was dragging my feet and it felt like those few blocks took forever. The next day the three of us went for not one, but two half hour walks and they didn't tire me out as much as those few block walking on my own.

I love walking with my dog and yes, I talk to him along the way. People in my neighborhood probably think I'm nuts. I too find that I walk faster and with more purpose when I take him along.

I know I sound like a broken record but my dog literally saved my life - she is the one thing that makes me laugh and smile every day despite all of the stress and aggravation coming from the rest of the world. Now, here's my two cents about jobs and co-workers. Back in the day when I had colleagues, I used to get myself in a really stupid cycle. THEY would goof off but claim they never had time for anything EXTRA. *I* would be the one redesigning systems to complete a process in 30 seconds that was taking five hours. YET, the person I'd just saved five hours claimed 'they were behind' and still, no more work. What am I saying? I guess, if you're always getting stressed about work, you'll always BE stressed. Not your fault by any means. Just, hey, get up and go play foosball or something. Dont be the one to do all the work while the rest of the mice play. It's not an ideal work ethic but neither is going home at the end of the day twisted in knots from being stressed out. Save yourself first!

LOL - I KNOW exactly what you mean about work being ANNOYING! And , I work for myself...LOL But it still can be annoying.
