My aim for easter's WE won't be to lose weight but at least not to gain... no elliptical and no diet food for 3 days... and no refusing too much. Even if I actually accept 10% of what my mother offers I will still gain! they eat all the time and they seem to think that food is the most important thing in the world. And they know I used to have an eating disorder so I don't want to attract their attention.
We'll see how it goes.

I googled a few Polish foods today and I'm just amazed how many calories these pepople are able to put in a very small portion of food. I guess it's due to the fact it's a very cold country.
I'll try to record as accurately as possible.

Have a good easter ~ never thought about the cal vs portion being specific to Polish Vs Italian Vs anything else - food for thought :-)

I'm Polish too. Everything is cooked with lots of butter and fat. you know-kielbasa,ham,pierogi's. But man is it good! MH and I are going away for Easter so we'll miss all that. Good thing for me.

Yep, at least I can escape the kielbasa I'm vegetarian! But there will be pascha, and ruskie pierogi, of course heavily cooked in butter, and specially made by my mom for me, so I just can't refuse. FullaBella, I think there are more healthy choices in Italian food, pasta when cooked with not too much fat, antipasti, lots of veg... Happy Easter, everyone!
