Still enjoying counting my calories. It seems more 'real' than counting points. Before, I would go over my allowance because its only 3 points or so, but when it shows as calories it is a different story. I may still go over this weekend but I'm not stressing about it. I enjoy recording my food for the day before I eat my evening meal so I can see how many calories I've got left, and its so easy to do :-)

I really like the "counting calories" approach. It makes it real, and it gives you a very down to earth view of how you are doing on your calorie intake. Well done.

Thank you. It's good too because I know if I put weight on I just need to reduce my calories slightly, so I'm not stressing about it like I did when I counted points on Weight Watchers. I don't think I could do 600 calories like you though, even for just a few weeks !! Well done to you too.

I think the single most important part of losing weight is to take the stress and pressure of the whole thing away. We need to stay focused on the weight loss journey, but we can't freak out about it. When we panic and fight it, or struggle to get there, then we make it more difficult on ourselves. My 600 per day IS a true challenge, but I like a good challenge. I am learning a LOT about myself. Still, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to being done in a week. :) Still, the results are crazy.
