Carrot and Broccoli soup:

I am tired of being tired. Just think of the calories I would burn if I wasn’t in bed every other day! I think TOM sucks the energy right out of me. I ended up staying in bed all day falling asleep and yesterday was worse. I don’t know if it is the Lupus or what. Oh well, tomorrow will be better… I am taking Tammy dog for a hike since it is finally going to be warm.

SO, I made carrot soup. I used carrots, garlic, ginger, sodium free chicken stock and threw in a thing of coconut milk water stuff. I didn’t really care for it. Today, I cooked a bunch of broccoli in water with 1 chicken bouillon and then blended it with my blended carrot soup. WALA, MUCH BETTER.

I was curious what the coconut milk water stuff would taste like, hoping it would add some flavor. I tasted it, and NO FLAFOR! NADA. What did I just pay for, I think some of this fake milk crap is a big scam! LOL.

Hope everyone is doing well and ready for the weekend. Be good and try to keep movin!

I sure do hope you feel better tomorrow so you can take advantage of the warm weather. Glad you got your soup at an edible state.

I sometimes get this way when spring is taking its own sweet time to arrive and it's just another cold day for the creaky old joints. Big hugs, it will be nicer out very soon!

I like Silk Almond Milk..I like the unsweetened vanilla my coffee..not much for cereal though..I like soup but DH doesn' I don't make if often..Enjoy your weekend and hope you get your energy back...:O)

Lupus is tough, but hang in there; I know a lot of people that have come back from it. It just doesn't happen overnight. Don't let it take over your life. You just have to force yourself, more than others, to find motivation. And don't overdo it either. Hang tough, Lizzy; it'll get better.

DairyKing, Thanks, I need to hear that, Yes, I do have to really focus and force myself to not let it take over, but in the long run, it is better. I will learn how to pace myself over time:-) I had a great day yesterday plaing with the pond/fish... LOL
