STILL KICKIN'


I have been laying low, sleeping a lot, and following doctor's orders to take it easy until this stuff is gone. It does seem to be getting better and that's a good thing, but I have been here before. My pastor's mom was telling me Sunday that when she had bronchitis last summer it took her 5 months and 5 courses of medication to finally get over it. I know my immune system isn't up to snuff, so it always takes me a lot longer to get over these things, but this is truly getting ridiculous. And to top it off, Dan now is sick with a cold. Poor guy, he is miserable. I sure hope he feels better soon...I hate seeing him so punk.

Baby sis returned home yesterday, so our nephew is back at home. It was a joy having him here. He is such a good kid.

Food has been pretty good, even though I haven't really felt much like recording it, and when I do, I'm sure I forgot some things. My recall isn't working very well right now. Exercise....lol, what exercise? Unless you can count sleeping and lying around in my jammies as exercise, there hasn't been any.

The weather remains as psychotic as it has been all winter long....70 one day, 30 the next, thunderstorms, then snow, lots of wind, and just plain ol' crazy.

Well, I suppose I should go and see if I can remember what I ate yesterday and record it. Today I am going to try to record it as I go, so I don't leave anything out. I know I am in the middle of some challenges and I haven't weighed in or done anything toward them. I'll try to get back into the swing of things here soon.

Glad you are taking good care of you, speedy recovery wishes for both you & Dan. You are right, this nutty weather doesn't help matters at all. BUT, changing jammies probably counts as excercise, plus it helps a person feel better to put on "fresh" jammies, I think so anyway...works for me, usually. Take care & feel better quick!

LOL, Dar...I have been changing jammies at least 2 times a day, so that must mean I am exercising twice a day, right? Thanks for speedy recovery wishes! I am so tired of being sick. Have a great day!

I'm glad you are able to take it easy, so sorry about Dan, hope he doesn't give it back to you. This bug is going round and round. Looking forward to you feeling better soon. Petting doggies counds as exercise I think... hehe

I'm with Laurie....it's all about getting well right now....everything else can wait. BTW....no running around outside fixing fences until you kick this crud FOR GOOD!! LOL!
