Well last night was a bit too many calories but I enjoyed the evening. The reality is I am going to be in many high calorie situations and I will likely want to participate. So the trick isn’t not falling off the diet wagon but falling than getting back on. I enjoy the social aspect of Friday night outs with friends and Saturday get togethers and Sunday dinners. All of which there is the potential to overdue the calories. So knowing they will be a part of life the trick will be to manage these situations. So yesterday I fell off the wagon today I will have to be more dedicated.

A friend suggested that as I put in more effort and see more results I will be less inclined to fall. Maybe this thought is true but right now I see that there will be times when I just want to throw caution to the wind and have fun. I also acknowledge that weight gain and weight loss is not a single day event. Maybe it is risky thinking but as long as I can reign it back in I should be allowed to have a “binge” day.

I guess time and the scale will answer this question.

Heck I gotta remember too that I spent the yesterday making two soups and pulled pork for the fridge and freezer so I have meals available for next week to avoid the fast food temptations. So good job there.
