It rained a bit last night... .02 inches, I know for those of you who get inches at a time .02 must sound like spit. But here in the desert region .02 is enough to do some good for the growers. Got to have some moisture to even work the fields before planting. We have rain in the forecast for this afternoon and evening so we are all praying that we get some more. The winds are supposed to pick up and often times they just blow the rain past us onto Dallas and eastern Texas.

Scale is still staying firmly settled in and although it gets a bit frustrating it makes me all the more determined to stay the course 100% so that it will have to move at some point.

Am going to town today....need to run some errands and it is time for my monthly hair appointment. I will go to the Natural Foods store and pick up some products that I am low on and try to find garbanzo bean flour. If they don't have it, I will order it online. Also need to go to the butcher shop for a few things. Of course, I have to go to Target, the big grocery store, and stop by my favorite little resale shop...after all, what would a trip to town be without doing that! So I have a busy little day planned.

Not much else to report from my corner of the world. Hope everyone has a successful day and doing something that brings a smile to their face.

Monthly hair appointment... Man! I haven't been to my stylist since last March! LOL But, when I do, I'll cut it, then let it grow out, so there's not really a need to cut. Fingers crossed that you get some of our rain... it's been yucky all morning in Dallas!

Dani darling....you aren't 66 years old and need all the help you can get...especially, if you need it colored! Oh to be a youngster like yourself!!!! I hope we get some of your rain as well!!!!!

Have fun at the Natural Foods store. Definitely if you don't find the garbanzo flour, try vitacost.com. They have Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Garbanzo and Fava Flour. Pay no attention to that scale, my dear friend. I've come to believe they're just evil. Wishing you a bit more water in the desert. Have a great day.

Not 66, but 42 and "salted" enough to need L'Oreal... ;o)

I'd be happy to see some rain, as well, just as long as it didn't freeze-up afterwards. These below freezing temps, we've been getting, are getting tiresome. I'll be happy to see springtime come.
