Had a very busy and social weekend. Went shopping on Saturday and then mixed up my perogi filling, just as I was finishing my cousin dropped by. He was travellling through town on his way home, I haven't seen him in years. Talked him into spending the night as there was a snow storm in the mountain. I'm terrible at keeping in touch with family so it was nice to get caught up. He has eight grandchildren, wow.

Sunday got up early and made up the perogi dough and when my cousin left went to a friends place to start the perogi marathon. Six hours later we had made 40 dozen of the little buggers. Our friends always seem to know when we are doing this and drop by for samples. My cousin left me a big chunk of Ukrainian sausage so we fried some of that up with the perogis. It was fun but both me and my friend are getting old and I ended up with stiff muscles in my neck and shoulders from hunching over the table and she had a sore lower back. We might have to cut down the amount we make in the future.

Now trying to figure out what I ate the past few days...probable more than I should
