Never thought I could enjoy biking and now I cannot live without it. It has been a month since I started to bike after 20 years almost. (I think I was 10 y/o before that) It is not like running, whereas everything moves up and down. When you bike, everything stays in place and you burn >300 calories in 30 minutes. Your legs start to look great in no time, which is what we want when we have so much weight to lose.(FYI I bought my bike for $30 at craigslist) Hope you can find a good bike and start to bike for your health. As for the cold weather, I like it, because I do not sweat as much and it feels refreshing. This is why outdoors exercising makes a big different to me. I do not have to eat a perfect diet and I am losing weight. I also have to credit water. Water has been essential to flush fats and cleanup toxins. The days I do not drink water, I feel swollen and thicker, as if I have too much sodium and sugar converting to fat—not a good feeling. Water makes it better.
