I did have a couple of things to "celebrate" yesterday. They may not seem like that big of a deal but add them up and they will be meaningful over the long run. We had some training in the afternoon at work and the trainer brought in cookies. It was a nice justure and I have to admit wanting some but I resisted. I thought about how many calories they were and where would I claw back those calories if I had one. I couldn't rationalize it and I could not assure myself that I would have just one so I had none. Well done. Later in the evening I wanted a snack after super. I thought about peanut butter and jam toast. Again I resited as I didn't want to be snacking at 9:00 pm. Plus having over eatten with 4 cups of stew for super I didnt have the calories so I went to bed wanting. Just goes to show I can do it and it feels good to not give into cravings. Woo hoo.

I can tell you were pretty proud of yourself and for good reason. In the long run you were being nicer to yourself than had you eaten all the junk. Give yourself a pat on the back from me, good job Steve!
