So no weigh in today, even though I exercised yesterday. I could have made the time, but it was a bigger pain to work it in, so I blew that off. Besides, maybe next time I weigh in, I will be even more pleasantly surprised. Fingers Crossed!
This morning was FROM HELL. Wed is the day I go into the office instead of WFH, so getting up earlier, getting Kraken up earlier, shower, blow dry, makeup...AAAUUUGGGHHH! Hubby was there, too, but God bless him, he's a distraction to me when I'm rushing. Besides the fact that he gets up later than he should and then starts freaking out on me. Grr. I was on track when he got the Kraken up. Then it was downhill. Put laptop bag and lunch bag in car, had to go back upstairs for something. (Wearing slipper boots) FORGOT SHOES, which also had much needed "product" with them, so I turned the car around and went back-Kraken still in the car at this point. Get shoes and stuff, back in car, OK, drop her at daycare, then head to Sbux for morning java, get in line... O.M.G. WHERE THE F IS MY PHONE?!? It's at home, where I left it, when I was doing hair and makeup. Get coffee (still had purse and means to pay), then go BACK home for phone. (Teen still upstairs with Dogga getting ready for HER day) Get phone, 1 text and 2 phone calls, all from hubby. Get back in car, then head to work. 45 MINUTES LATER.... I'm at work setting up laptop for my day (this was about an hour ago). Traffic was AWFUL. Managed to apply lipstick and ONE shoe on before I got to work (left foot, I drive an automatic). Park, break, turn off car, then get the other one on. All of this, and I still haven't had a single sip of my coffee...
I'm trying to be grateful for things, but right now, due to lack of sleep and caffeine, I can't really think clearly... so I'm gonna end on this: HAPPY HUMP DAY...

Yeah, life got better. I got to see a former employee of mine, then got to finish the day from home.

How right you are, Keld... and they did. The day in the office was not awful. I got to see a former employee and then some 'chill' time with my current team.
