Good news, our Friday night group turns out has people wanting to lose weight and several diabetics. We all will be aware of what we bring for snacks; will be low carb and low calorie.

@ Miss Annie: Almond cookies Preheat oven to 300 2 cups almond flour ½ cup Splenda 1 stick butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. almond extract Mix ingredients together in mixer. Form into walnut sized cookies (about 20 to 24) I use a little cookie scoop. Place on greased cookie sheet. I have a Silpat cookie sheet liner, no need to grease that. Bake 5 minutes, and then gently pat cookies down a little with a fork. Continue baking for another 15 minutes (maybe a couple more, depends on your oven). These contain about 30 carbs per total recipe (1> carb each)and anywhere from 80 to 92 calories each, depending on number. Nice, if you can stick to just a few. :)

Sounds pretty good but I see the biggest problem in sticking to just a few ;-)

Gigi, thank you so much for the recipe. I will put it in my recipe collection to make at a later date. I don't have enough will power to have them around yet. ;). Congrats on the size 14 pants.
