I'm holding pretty steady now since I don't consider a gain or loss of 2 ounces much of anything. Wish I could lose, but overall not that unhappy with my progress. I have been walking 4-5 days a week, staying within my RDI and just overall feeling better physically and mentally. That is what I wanted so I won't complain about a stuck scale. To be honest I'm finding recording everything I eat and drink to becoming a little tedious and boring, but I know myself well enough to know that if I don't do it, I will eat too many calories. Oh to be an intuitive eater... not there yet. Maybe someday. :)
171.8 lb Lost so far: 0.6 lb.    Still to go: 16.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ditto that Teri - I get frustrated with the tedium too but I remind myself that I've only been doing this (recording) 3 months. I haven't set an 'intuitive ' goal date yet - still trying to undo too many years of bad habits.

I don't think I'll ever be intuitive - or at least that I'll ever do the right thing/follow my intuition without a bit of a push. I'm pretty sure that I would "cheat" if I didn't have to face my missteps by seeing the entries. There are times when I don't eat something that I would otherwise eat because I don't like the way it'll look on the food diary. I wish I weren't this way, but I think that entering food is essential for me.

I have been recording everything for 5 months and I am still not at a point where I can give it up. It provides accountability for me. There are countless times that the thought of having to add something to my food diary gives me the strength to put it back or walk by it all together!
