I am sitting here having my coffee and watching it snow! Of course, it is not in the forecast, at all, in any way, shape, or form, so not sure how much there will be, or how long it will last, but right now it is snowing and everything is white. I love it! Big ol' fat, fluffy flakes of snow! lol

I slept 10 hours again last night, and probably would have slept more, but middle sis called and woke my. Good thing, too. I am still coughing and stuffed up, but slowly getting back to "normal". Dan made round steak for dinner last night, with celery, green beans, and salad. It was delicious! We watched the first episode of "The Following" with Kevin Bacon. Not bad...will watch a few more and see if it is something we would like to continue watching. I really love Kevin Bacon. My favorite is "Tremors". Such a fun movie.

We lit our first fire of the season last night, as it was the coldest it has been in 2 years. It was really nice on such a cold winter's night, but of course the bedrooms were FREEZING, since the furnace didn't kick on! I was so glad we have a heated water bed...crawled in, snuggled down, and slept really well, as evidenced by my 10 hour night! lol

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print from my corner...hope all is well in your's!

Stef, glad you got to sleep so well. I used to love the snow when we lived in Connecticut, so beautiful, especially the first snow. Even though I live in California, I get really cold here too. We've had a cold winter (for us at least, most nights below freezing). At my age I get cold easy. Lots of sunshine here. Enjoying my coffee after exercising the shoulder. Glad we are both back on track trying to undo the damage of the past months. Have a good one XXXX

10 hours of sleep and then a beautiful snowfall; sounds like heaven! I'm glad you're doing better. I like Kevin Bacon, too. My partner has to watch Tremors any time its on TV, any one of them. I think I can just about quote the lines from them, lol. I haven't seen "The Following" yet; I'll check On Demand & see if I can watch an episode, since I'm taking a day of rest at home.

I love big ol fluffy flakes of snow too. Our weather forecasters predictions are so accurate this year. I agree with Pam, A HEATED WATER BED, sounds like absolute luxury, i have heated water in bed too, in the shape of a hot water bottle. Well Stef if you've got it, flaunt it. much love Sazy xx snuggle in.

ps, I watched the following too. I'm not sure yet about it too. to much happened in one episode, like cramming silence of the lamb into an hour.. I really hope it is a good show too.

I'm with the above - a heated water bed AND snow? What more could a girl ask for?! lol... So glad to hear it sounds like you're on the mend. Sleep well, my friend - having had so many difficulties with sleep for the past... year? almost... I find there is nothing better than a good night's sleep to cure (or maybe a temporary bandaid) most things. :D

I got an electric blanket & a woodburner & snow! You could think that we are in the same place not on other sides of the world :). Tremors....now there is a blast from the past. I remember the 1st time I watched it....it scared the ********* daylight out of me! I have seen it many times since then & still find it fascinating. Glad to hear that you are on the mend too. I don't do ill, but if it hits me, I do it badly!!!

Morning Stef, I remember pics of your place covered with snow, it will be beautiful again. I too have a waterbed, aren't they the best on the coldest of nights? We have 3 huge comforts on our right now because of the extreme cold and drop in temps during the night. Thanks for your support right now, really feel the love, thanks hun.

Wow....big, fat, fluffy flakes and they're not even in the forecast! Makes you wonder exactly WHAT those meteorologists were studying in their college days! We're interested in "The Following" too but couldn't fit it into the DVR schedule until.......we found out it's being re-run on Friday night, so we've got it in the schedule for then. Looks pretty intriguing. Hope you continue to get enough rest so you can get back to being the healthy Stef we all know!!!
