Why I am trying to drop some lbs or How to get your bf to buy you stuff!

This morning while pondering what to eat for breakfast, I was thinking why do I do this to myself - alter what I eat, weigh and measure every drop of food, keep up an exercise diary, force myself to get off the couch when I'm quite comfortable snuggled under the blanket watching TV with the bf when he said to me "I have a surprise for you" oooh I thought another xmas gift. "I'm so tired of those old plastic measuring spoons we have and you use them so much I ordered some brand new stainless steel measuring spoons and cups". Wow, new cooking goodies but here is the sweet spot - "you use the blender so much mixing those horrible protein drinks and I'm tired of washing it out twice a day so I also ordered one of those food network immersion blenders with its own mixing cup. You can drink right out of the mixing cup".
Sweet!! So, now I'm surfing on the food network site to see what other "cooking friendly" I can convince the bf to purchase. Lose a lb, get a gadget - works for me
