I will be trying a new twist on an old favorite recipe today. Chocolate/raspberry Zucchini cake. How many ways can I use up the seemingly endless zupply of zucchini I have frozen? Not sure, but so far, nobody has complained...LOL! Sometimes these ideas just come to me, so we are going to roll with it today.

Wisconsin has officially re-entered the deep freeze today, which for me is good. Freeze that lake back up good & solid, I do worry about those crazy fishermen out there. I think that Sturgeon spearing season starts soon too, & last year if I remember we didn't have ice. Anyway, back to the totally selfish reason, I like the lake frozen good & solid, then some nice snow to blanket it with, along with all the lovely snowmobile trails.

I do love cozy Sunday morning big breakfasts, I do, I do, I do! Nice & snug & warm in the house. So that is the plan, breakfast, followed by a little baking creativity session so we have a wonderful dessert to go with our baked ham dinner. Going to try a mashed cauliflower dish using olive oil, garlic, chives & romano cheese I found on pinterest, the original recipe was for mashed potatoes, but I am going for cauliflower sounds totally delish, so I am excited about that too.

So, I have to get going, lots of laundry to do yet, cleaning & getting prepped for work next week. A couple more days yet of the super tough variety to get through yet, but, work wise, I can see the glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel...maybe.

Sounds like a productive day, GG, AND an interesting recipe. I just finished making spicy bean sprout soup for my korean bf for breakfast. i'm hoping to make an eggplant salad this afternoon for me! Have a great day.

That sounds yummy, I love taking something and giving it a healthier twist. I would love a dash of snow, the forecasters say the UK is in line for a blanket covering, though here in the south we rarely get any. You also reminded me to get my work uniform in the

GG, I miss having a nice big freezer to keep excess soups, veggies, and meat on hand. Oh well.....maybe the next house. Anyway, I'm sure that dessert will be a least it sounds really good to me! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

For your sake I'm happy that you'll have a little more time to enjoy your winter wonderland. As for me, I am rather enjoying having the back door open to air out the house with these 70 degree breezes.

That dessert sounds really good..Hope you get your wish of all the frozen lakes in your area...ME..give me warmth...Although if its cold is nice to turn the logs on and snuggle up and read...its been unseasonably warm this year...not complaining at all...Have a great Monday...:O)
