My perception of myself is starting to change. Before, I would look in the mirror and see the smaller version of myself looking back, I had a hard time believing that that reflection was really me. I still pictured myself as I was, very fat. Now, the image looks like I see myself and when I look at pictures of when I weighed over 260 lbs, I have a hard time believing that I was that way. It is like I am starting to not think as a fat person in a smaller body, but as a smaller person with some weight to loose. This change in perspective has started to change how I look at things and how I am noticing people react to me. I know I still have quite a ways to go to hit my goal weight of 126 lbs and a BMI of 22.5, but I think it will be easier to continue and finish this journey of weight loss and not gain it back.
