So I went camping with my hubby this weekend for our 31st anniversary and threw diet caution to the wind. Obviously not the best idea, but I just couldn't see myself keeping a diet journal on a camping trip. I did a lot of hiking, but still gained a pound. I just don't understand this 53 year old body sometimes. It gives me no leeway. I've never been skinny, but since I turned 50 all I have to do is smell food to gain a pound! I just refuse to go below 1500 calories regularly because this is my life, not a diet and I'm not going to try to subsist on 1200 calories or less just to be thin. Thankfully the weather here is AZ is soon to cool off a bit so I can get outside and walk again. In the summer I just don't exercise as regularly as I should. It's so discouraging that I haven't made any real progress in 3 months. Oh well, apparently this is the body I'm meant to have so I had better treat it as well as I can. I do feel better than I did 3 months ago even if I don't look any better.

Hi, hope you enjoyed your campingtrip. I think if you feel better that is an obvious sign to mee you are doing something right. I sadly have binged for a week now and dont feel good physically. when i was doing ok after my operation because i couldnt eat i felt physically better because i was eatin less and better and sitting writing this too you now today will be a good day towards wanting to get that physically bright feeling back and hopefully for longer this time. my head is also clearer when i am mastering control and enjoying it. Have a good weekend and be kind to your own efforts as i am going to try to do and appreciate them. Sazy xx
