I am giving butter in my oatmeal a try today and see how I do. Even though I am trying to work 2 jobs it's nice to be back in the school schedule. So far every night this week I have gotten a walk in and exercise done. I don't know what it is about summer that makes everything go haywire but I do love getting back into my workout routine.

when I was growing up and ate real old fashioned oats,, I was taught to butter and milk in it by my Grandmother ,, and it is delish that way ,, and I would still eat it like that if I were to indulge . As they say today,, it was a whole way of eating back in the day before processed foods took over the country . Fat was a huge part of the diet,, and Diabetes was not a common household word either .. Think about it !
