Everybody has been showing off their dogs, here's my baby. She was the only pet I ever had and she passed away at 19 years old a couple years ago.

Here's a toast to all our four footed babies, past and present that bring so much to our lives.........

Isn't she a sweetheart? I love her! 19 years old ... wow! I have had larger breed dogs for the last 16 years and they go too soon. It's just heart breaking to lose a member of the family that is so cherished. Thank you for sharing. :)

Teacup poodles live a long time. I thought about getting another one, but with the boys, the mayhem around here is a little crazy. I get a little scared about who will take care of a pet when I get old and decrepit, I am not even sure whose gonna take care of ME!

LOL! You are way to young to be worried about that yet! Me on the other hand .... I do wonder what will happen to me if I need looking after. I doubt my kids would help me at all. I figured they would throw me in an old folks home and be done with it.

She is rocking that pink mohawk. Bet she had a black t-shirt that said Anarchy!

ok that's a pink Mohawk? On my phone it looks like something is escaping from her head. I hate that pets can't live as long as we do. My retirement plan when I'm ready for the home is jail. Free room and board and your kids visit just as often as if you were in a nursing home.

OMG .. you are all so funny ... ROFL! From Mom's comments, to Zeddie's to Instantcrazy's retirement plans. Sooooo funny!

Yep, IC's retirement plan sounds like a better plan. We need to strive for federal as they have work out rooms, tv, therapy and all kinds of neat benefits. Yeah! The Federal Pen is the way to go. :o) If we were all the same age and in the same situation, we could just go and rob a bank together. Ha!

Hmmm computer crime... I could work with that

LOL! My daughter is a credit card fraud specialist. I bet when I get old and needy, she would be more than happy to have me arrested for credit card fraud and sent to the pen. She gets a bonus in pay and gets rid of old mother at the same time.

LMAO Mom! I was thinking bank robbery. Nice and tidy. Nobody gets hurt. We all have to end up in the same pen so we can sit and complain about our kids together.

I want to join you two in the same pen. Could we ask for a room with a view .lol

laughing!! Now you want to go to one of those ritzier prisons, like the one they sent Martha Stewart to. Pretty pretty pup!!! They do take lots of care and time but add so much joy. Now I have an onery parrot that will probably outlive me.

When our son got his chocolate lab, they left him with us for a week. Dog's name is Dante (Yea, from Dante's Inferno. Son's an artist. They call him D in order to avoid long discussions about his name.) Grandpa (me) got really attached, but at one point we dressed him up, put a hat on him, and sent a photo to his mom and dad who were down south for a couple of weeks. They freaked that we would treat him that way. I think the ribbon would have been worse. lol

My hubby doesn't like me putting clothes or scarves or ribbons on our dogs. I do it anyway. LMAO!! They won't keep the things on but it makes me laugh. I like wrapping a kerchief around their heads. They look like little immigrants. :o)
