Today I'm feeling a little unsure about what to do. I have lifted the last two days. My triceps are sore, so I don't think I'm going to lift today. I'm just going to do some cardio. I find myself missing the foods that I love, but as I look at their nutritional values, I realize how terrible they are and how counterproductive it would be to eat them. I'm still trying to figure out the eating part. I'm eating smaller meals more often, but I usually just end up just feeling hungry afterwards. I'm wanting to eat more, but I'm afraid that if I do, I'm going to go overboard and just start eating everything I was eating to get me here.

A break from lifting is a good thing, muscles take time to recover and heal. What foods are you missing? I might be able to help you recreate those foods in a less calorie dense way. I try not to give up anything I love because I just cant live with deprivation. Make sure you are eating enough on your workout days, too. Strength training makes you feel like you're starving, all damn day. It was like that for me yesterday, so I feel your pain in that regard. One day at a time though, right? Thanks for the buddy request! :)

No problem. I lifted again last night although my triceps were still sore. After reading up on it yesterday, I determined I was suffering from DOMS, and working out is the best thing to do. Rome wasn't built in a day.
