I'm not real sure this weight is right. In fact I'm not sure any of my weight in's are accurate. My scale has gone spastic. I can get three different #'s in ten minutes. Plus I used my moms scale this week and got a 4lb difference from mine. I'm going to get a new one this week.
I have lost another 3/4" inch in waist. I started excerciseing a month ago, two weeks before I started dieting. My waist was 39" then and is now 35". I can also tell by my cloths that I'm losing mass in other parts of my body.
So even if I'm not losing weight I am changeing fat into muscle which is good. At least that is what I keep telling myself. that and don't eat cause I'm bored.

If you get different readings it could mean that the scale needs new battery or it's on an uneven surface or it's broke, lol! Scales are all calibrated differently so you can get a different reading on each one you weigh on. They should all be within a few pounds of each other though.

I know that when you are not losing weight you hate other people telling you, "Don't worry, muscle weighs more than fat." But, measurements don't lie, so you SHOULD be proud of your progress! Exercise is the best start for weight loss, so yay for you!

I've allready tried moving the scale, but didn't think of batteries so will try that. Thanks Suzi. I am proud, Gillian, I just would be prouder if I'd lost a pound or two as well. LOL Plus I'm not proud of just how out of shape I apparently was. But looking less like and oompa-loompa is very good.

Tried to change battery in scale and broke one of the wires connecting the battery. So now scale doesn't work at all. Thats ok. I didn't like it anyways. It kept telling me I'm fat. Who needs that kind of critiicism when dieting. I like my tape measure much better. LOL

Funny! Time for a new scale. :o) You know, I wasn't losing weight for a while when I added Pilates to Zumba workout schedule, but my waist was getting smaller, clothes fitting better... Then the weight started coming off again! Keep doing well and the weight will follow those inches.
