I'm feeling angry today. I am not quite sure who or what I am angry at... just irritable and angry. Not because I'm hungry, because I am not really... angry at every food I pass or smell that I can't have.

I am only 6 days into this diet at a current loss of 6.5 pounds(which is great!) and I really trying to keep the ultimate goal in mind. However, today I am angry. I have 18 more days on this phase of the diet. That sounds SO doable. I can't take many more days like this though. It sucked!

Did you ever find out what you're angry about? I use to get all sorts of irritable when I started my diet. I know you say it's not because you're hungry. But, to most once you begin the diet you kinda give up your comfort foods? If that' makes any sense.

I definitely think it is about giving up my comfort foods. I love everything cheese and rich and flavorful and creamy. And just about everything that is bad for me :) I think I might be angry because i have a hard time seeing passed "right-now." I kind of feel like I won't get to enjoy those things again. I know I will - food is always around and good in moderation. I will be able to enjoy it more when I set up better habits. Thanks, Kenny for the comment... It helped me think through this a little more.
