A heavenly hominy recipe that's healthy and tastes very good.
Ingredients
Directions
- Spray saucepan thoroughly with cooking spray, like PAM, and drain the water from the hominy.
- Add hominy, oregano, and flour to the saucepan over medium-high heat, add garlic powder/garlic salt to your taste.
- Keep stirring the mixture while it's frying until it starts to turn a golden brown, you might have to add a small amount of oil.
- After a light brown, take off burner and let it cool.
- Note: if you like it spicy, you can add a few dashes of hot sauce when you're ready to eat!
