i haven't been on in awhile, mostly trying to navigate my way through being pregnant now...so i've kinda broken away from following the low carb dieting. but if anybody has any good healthy tips for nutrition during pregnancy i'll take any advice i can get. this is my first time being pregnant and just like any new mom...i just want to get it right...!

in response to IMLUUVD - the South Beach Diet is the only one that comes close to the diet that a nutritionist had put me on. I try to stay between 60-80 carbs per day. This helps me maintain any weight I have lost previously. So it's mostly just trying to eat healthier.
I have to admit though - I bought the book "Skinny Bitch" and now am seriously contemplating slowly working in a more vegetarian lifestyle. So I will be logging some of that in here too.
This past weekend was my birthday and I fell way out of any diet practices during my celebrating. Today has been better though and once I receive all my "going vegetarian" info I will start weening myself into that.
My first goal is to convert from dairy to more soy based product.

when following low carb i find it helpful to have 1 "break" day per week. this allows me to indulge, but i also find that i don't want or crave as much of the unhealthy stuff. i had my day on sunday and monday. Sunday i had pizza, which i miss greasy ooey gooey cheesy pizza the most. now i probably won't want it for awhile. so far this week already i'm off to a great start.
