A little bit about me, I started atkins two years ago when I topped the scale at 270lbs, I wanted to change so bad and being unemployed I put every effort into losing weight, in three months I was down to 216lbs and very toned. I think everyone comments about how atkins was bad for me and no support stopped me from staying on it. I tried weight watchers which didn't work for me because it wasn't restrictive enough. Give me an inch I will take a mile! I recently assesed my current eating pattern and realized I hadn't eatten a vegetable in a week. Whats wrong with this picture? My current eatting patterns were acceptable by everyone else but I am so unhealthy. On atkins I eat vegetables with every meal. I'm throwing everyones negative opinions to the wind. I started atkins again on monday 11/3/08 and dropped from 242-232lbs. I'm hoping by joining this site I can find support and love the challege section of the site. I am so excited!
