Macros pretty good again today! Calories looked better too. Staying busy. About to get my weight back where it was before my few splurges last weekend. It is amazing how you can put it on so fast but it comes off sooooo slow. LOL
My energy level keeps getting better and better.
Steps were under 7000 but my work website says I've walked 83 miles this month. That is pretty awesome; for me anyway!

12% carb 67% fat 21% protein - a day on the run but still managed to keep the ratios pretty close and calories are under 1500 by day end. Maybe I'll see a reward on the scale tomorrow. Had biometrics performed for health insurance purposes for work. My total cholesterol was over the recommended 200 but my triglycerides were 77 - the optimal goal was anything less than 150; my HDL was 73 - optimal goal is anything higher than 60. The end result was a cholesterol/HDL Ratio of 3.2 which the optimal goal is anything less than 4.5. I am not going to let the total cholesterol and LDL which were considered borderline high bother me too much. The one measurement that did bother me was the fasting glucose of 109 = pre-diabetes. I am truly bummed by that - no sugar, no pasta, no white flour, no cookies, no cake, no ice cream. I have had a 1/2 pc of pie and 2 cups of melon in the last 2 mos. This tells me that even on this diet my genetics are against me. I have to get this wt off and improve this number, if possible. The recommendation is to do some light wt lifting.

11% carb 70% fat 19% protein, over on calories. I seem to get the ratios pretty right on but go over calories a lot. Some people say the calories don't matter but the years of conditioning cause me to continue to watch them. My weight was up a little this morning but I had a few beers Saturday celebrating and then ate the first fruit I've had in months celebrating my birthday at my daughter's house. Fruit (melon) butter than cake & ice cream!
I feel proud of making good decisions. The beers were Michelob Ultras which are low carb.

10% carbs 66% fat 24% protein. Way over on the calories but managed to keep the ratios on track. Daughter thru a little bday party and had grilled chicken, salad and fresh melon. Delish. I ate the melon, first fruit in about 2 months. Incredibly sweet. Feet and ankles very swollen tonight. not enough water today. Worked very hard this afternoon; housework. House looks and smells clean. Steps are over 10k again tonight.

Great day. Had lunch with friends and then went to a local event. Enjoyed some good music, good food, good friends and good laughs. Total steps today is 10710. YAY! Macros were 8% carbs 23% protein and 69% fat. Was worried that I was high on the protein but came home and had a bulletproof tea with butter and hwc to add to my daily fat ratio. I'm getting the hang of what I can eat and how to balance it out if I get too much protein. Hope you all had a successful day.
